Independent coffee shops are a must in Louisville. They are definitely part of the local flavor and culture. Starbucks has nothing on these shops. Among the many coffeehouse choices in the Highlands, this is my favorite. It's a friendly, welcoming spot that serves up well made expresso drinks, a dark and medium roast brew, and an excellent iced dark roast or hazelnut that stands up to the ice. They have a nice "bring your own cup" price and discounted refills for coffee. You can also get a few sandwiches, scones, muffins and desserts. Enjoy!
Excellent coffee at reasonable prices. Also has snack food and is next door to an excellent desert room.
