Baptist Healthcare System hospitals and clinics follow a Christ-centered mission to bring medical care, health and wellness to the communities they serve. Its five acute-care hospitals provide more than 1,500 licensed beds. Baptist East is Louisville's premier East End medical center, with specialized services for women's health, cancer, heart, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, emergency care, occupational health, and behavioral health, including psychiatric and chemical dependency care. It additional facilities include Baptist Hospital Northeast, Baptist Regional Medical Center, Central Baptist Hospital, Hardin Memorial Hospital, Western Baptist Hospital, Western Baptist Prime Care Center and Baptist Urgent Care. Each of the five hospitals offers home health serving Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Scott, Woodford, Breckinridge, Hardin, LaRue, Meade, Nelson, as well as Hickman, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg counties in Kentucky and Alexander, Hardin, Johnson, Massac, Pope and Pulaski counties in Illinois.
