Advanced Probing Systems is one of the leading manufacturers of small diameter needles used in cantilevered and vertical probe applications and as medical electrodes and spotting pin blanks in genome testing and a variety of other applications. APS manufactures pins in tungsten, tungsten-rhenium, beryllium-copper, palladium alloys, NewTek and a variety of stainless steel alloys. Its capabilities include grinding, forming, bending and electrochemical machining and plating and assists in selection of optimal wire materials and tip finishes. The company is ISO compliant and has been operational for more than 14 years. Advanced Probing has two production locations and is headquartered in Boulder, Colo.
