Board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology, (1977), the American Board of Pathology (1982) and the American Board of Laser Surgery, (1985) Dr. Bruce Saal has dedicated 40 years of professional innovation and creativity to the field of Dentistry. He is a graduate of Harpur College at the State University of New York (BS, 1968) and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana (MD, 1972); and served his internship and residency at University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles. Dr. Saal is highly acclaimed and renowned as the pioneer for the first laser surgery clinic at Stanford University, Department of Dermatology, in 1984; along with his passion for research and development of laser therapies for dermatologic and cosmetic conditions. His professional networks and affiliations include, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, Santa Clara Medical Society, American Dermatological Society, American Society Dermatological Surgery, American Society Laser Surgery and Medicine, American Society Dermatopathology, and North American Society Phlebology.
