UMI is the most unprofessional medical imaging facility I have ever made contact with. Six months ago I scheduled an appointment for a 3 day MRI. A scheduler confirmed my appointment date and time via telephone. When I arrived for my MRI, staff confirmed that the UMI computer system did not have my record for an appointment. The scheduler never entered my appointment information into the UMI system! I spoke to the West L.A. supervisor. She did not offer any solution for me, so I spoke to her supervisor. She did not offer any solution for me. So I went up the ladder and spoke to the regiional supervisor. By the time I got a call from this man, it was a day late and a dollar short. I made a decision, that is never to contact UMI for any medical procedure! Do not call them! They will only waste your time and delay your critical medical care!
The most pathetic, inept, ignorant and careless group of workers at a radiology imaging center, ever!

Just a heads up: the staff here is horrible! They gossip and laugh super loudly. They don't care about the people coming in here. They're bothered about helping people with questions.

They never sent my abdominal ultrasound images back to my doctor who could tell if anything was wrong and what was causing me to be sick and in pain. Until four weeks after coming to this awful place, I finally got some answers.
