This business gets 1 star and here's why:
I went to this little kiosk at the Century City mall yesterday afternoon. I looked around and a pretty gold necklace caught my eye. The lady there approached me and helped me try it on and offered me deals. I said I needed to think about it but she urged me to buy now because she would be leaving within minutes as her shift was over. Well, I caved and bought the necklace that was orginally priced at $149.99 for $49.99. It was 22 carat gold plated. I loved it and was happy with my purchase even though felt like she manuvered me into a corner of making a purchase. I shrigged it off and walked around the mall some more. Well, she stayed at her kiosk for the next 4 hours and never left. That peeved me, but I was ultimately happy with my purchase so I let it go.
Well, today I wore my beautiful necklace to work and noticed it was loose after wearing it for about 4 hours. I held the necklace to see if it came undone, and it feel off in my hands. The necklace had broken and not even at a pressure point, but mid-necklace! I put my necklace on the corner of my desk for safe-keeping and brought it out to show my friend what had happened. The necklace broke again! and now I have 2 pieces to the necklace!
I called the owner/manager and she told me she could not offer me a refund but only an exchange. I explained to her I live 1 county away and cannot commit to such a long drive for a necklace. I politely asked for the refund to no avail. She said she would give me a call back but never did. I am extrememly unhappy and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to help me resolve this.
