Service Employees International Union, also known as SEIU, works for improving the lives of workers and their families. With more than 2 million members in Canada, the United States and Puerto Rico, SEIU is one of the largest unions in the North America. It represents workers in health care and public and property services. The union s members include local and state government workers, public school employees, bus drivers, child care providers, nurses, doctors, lab technicians and home care workers. Service Employees International Union s members works with employees, provider agencies, advocacy groups and clients to strengthen mental health care services.
