      generally recommended highly in reviews, but my experience with them was very unsatisfactory.

      i took two pairs of Birkenstocks in for repair because they were squeaking badly. i was told they need new soles, but after the new soles were put on the shoes still squeaked. John's Shoe Repair would do nothing further to fix the porblem and charged me $100!
