Dr. Shetty received his BS in biomedical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed medical school at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta State University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory University. This was followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Medical University of South Carolina, and he then came to University of California, Los Angeles for his transplant hepatology fellowship.
