Contacted warranty company and requested service on 7/25. Advanced AC called and said someone would arrive between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on 7/26. No one was home so we would need to arrange for someone to let them in. The technician was to call me when 30 minutes away. By 5:00 pm on 7/26, no one had contacted me. I called Advanced AC, who contacted the technician. I was told that the technician was running 30 to 60 minutes late and would call me when 30 minutes away. The technician never called. At 7:03 pm, the technician finally called from the wrong gate. I had to then scramble to get someone to let him in with short notice. I later learned that Advanced AC is in Los Angeles 130 miles away, at least 2.5 hours away.

The technician told me our unit needed "maintenance" which was not covered by the home warranty and we would need to pay him $250 directly. I explained that the unit just maintained. He later told me that the unit needed repair and parts. He left me with an invoice, which was illegible and incoherent, and said someone would call me the next day. I later learned that the technician disconnected our AC. Now we were left with no AC and temperatures over 110 degrees. Our wood furniture, cabinets, and leather furniture were now at risk of permanent damage from excessive heat. No one from Advanced AC called the next day as promised and we had no idea how and when our AC issue would be resolved.

I called Advanced AC the next day and expressed concerns about temperatures in the 110's and no AC. I asked when our AC would be repaired. No one knew. I was told someone would get back to me shortly. I waited all day, and no one called me back.

On 7/28, I was called a local (reputable) AC company, who provided immediate service. This was very poor customer service, reckless, potentially fraudulent, and Advanced AC left our home at risk of he
