Los Altos Golf & Country Club can trace its beginnings from the Spanish American heritage of Santa Clara Valley, Calif. Four flags fly over the club: the first flag of Spain, the Republic of Mexico, California state flag and the Stars and Stripes of the United States. Los Altos Golf & Country Club maintains a social membership of more than 150 people. Membership in the club is by invitation only. The golf course is an 18-hole par 71 course. It is more than 6,500 yards, rated 72.2 and slope rate 133 from the blue tees. Los Altos clubhouse offers 35,000 square feet of dining are, banquet facilities and locker rooms. Fitness facilities are located in both the men's and women's locker rooms. The club also boasts tennis courts and a swimming pool. Los Altos Golf & Country Club is located in Los Altos, Calif.
