You can't go wrong with this machine shop! I orginally was just going to buy a remanufactured motor, but after talking with Lloyd, I decided to have him rebuild my 351W. The price was very competitive with several reman sites I reseached, but I'm positive I got better quality from Springfield Custom. They installed lighter weight 9:1 flat top pistons, a hotter erson cam and balanced the motor with a new balance, my flywheel and pulley. I wouldn't have gotten this level of service with a reman. My heads were in good shape so he saved me some money. I put this motor in a 1954 Ford custom; it runs superb and gets better mileage than stock. I would recommend Springfield custom for any level of machine work, from a stock rebuild to a full race motor. These guys are fair and they know how to build the right motor for your application.
