      The Palms Estates of Highlands County is a 55+ Christian retirement community - a hidden gem on the shores of beautiful lake Istokpoga. Our small, friendly community offers stick built homes, single and double wide trailers, lots available for building, and a 40 slip RV Park. We offer many activities, including:Direct Lake Access, Enclosed and Heated Outdoor Pool, Free Citrus from the Park's own Groves, Hobby House with Television, Gaming Tables, and Exercise Equipment, Fellowship Hall with kitchen, dining facilities, and recreational area, Library, Bicycles free for use on first come first serve basis, Outdoor Shuffleboard Court, Horseshoe Pits, Mini Golf Range, and Planned Activities, Potlucks, Game Nights, Coffee Hour, Picnics and Holiday Parties and Festivals.
