General Info

Serving Lorain for over 70 years. The American Slovak Club was formed in September, 1935 as the American Slovak Home, by individuals of Slovak descent, who belonged to various Slovak Men and Women's fraternal organizations. The club was meant to be a "Home" away from "Home" where people of Slovak descent could speak the Slovak language and promote and practice the customs their families brought from Slovakia. Today the American Slovak Club's purpose is very similar but it includes all members, of various ethnic descent, a place to enjoy family and friends in an environment that promotes service, good food, and entertainment the entire family can enjoy. Stop by to visit us during our hours listed if you have any catering, party, or reception/banquet needs!!!
