The food was overly priced and badly prepared. I have been cooking and eating sushi for many years and wanted to try the local fare as I am new in town but this was absolutely shocking. The California Rolls were greasy because they drizzled a mayonnaise based sauce over the rolls....all you could taste was Mayo! A roll is not greasy, its supposed to be light and flavorful...what a disgrace! I could not believe what I was eating, but unfortunately that was not the worse. Then came a Crunchi Roll which consisted of a rice roll stuffed with crunchy tempura which tasted like a cracker. The crunchy filling (which is generally sprinkled on the top) was so dry and overpowering you could all together ignore the pathetic little piece of shrimp and avocado laid on top of it. They were also so large that everytime you picked one up the roll, stuffed with fried batter would break open spilling everything out. Of course this was also drizzled with that repulsive greasy mayonnaise sauce as well.....To add insult to injury the rolls were warm/room temperature and they were falling apart making it hard to pick up and eat.I found that GZ charges far too much for food which is sub par (greasy rolls???I still cant get over that)...whether you are a seasoned sushi eater or a beginner, just dont bother eating it here...it was shocking and a down right shame.
