I had an awesome time at Penthouse 808. It’s a hidden gem, great atmosphere. The service is incredible; waiters are so friendly and helpful. My favorite drink was the sangria it was delicious. I will definitely go back again. :)

We just got back from NYC and stayed two nights at this hotel on June 9-10 and then again two nights June 14-15. The first two nights we were on the 1st floor in a double queen bed room that was VERY roomy and luxurious. We loved the room and bathroom!! We were transported to and from the subway in the hotel van and had no problems. We loved the views from the rooftop bar, but the mixed drinks were bad and expensive. On our second stay, we were on the 2nd floor in single queen rooms. These were MUCH smaller and not as nice. The bed was nice. We stayed out in NYC later than the last shuttle run (11pm) and walked the 8 blocks from the subway to the hotel several times. It looks scary but it was a safe walk, and after the 1st time we never felt unsafe. The staff was great, and we LOVED the guy in the little breakfast shop!!! We plan to stay here again! It is just a subway ride into the city and the hotel is great for its closeness and comfort.
