Raymond sold us a minivan that has been in an accident. We asked him "has the car been in an accident?" and he said "NO". The van looks fine until you have a few days to really check it out. The doors don't line up on one side and it has been repainted. The bumper is crooked and the previously damaged side rattles too. I found masking tape over one of the VIN stickers, overspray in a tire well and a dust mask in the engine compartment. Who knows if it even has airbags anymore. Carfax didn't show any accidents but it did show a potential odometer rollback, which Raymond assured us was a mistake by showing us a clear title with the "actual mileage" on it. We believed him until it became apparant that he had lied about the accident. So we paid $23000 for a van that has been in an accident and had the odometer rolled back. Seemed like a great deal at the time.
