BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING. MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM THE AD TO THE VEHICLE, AND DO NOT ACCEPT THE COMPANY NOT GOING DOWN ON PRICE WHEN THEY HAVE FALSELY ADVERTISED. DO NOT LET THEM ACT AS IF THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic from Exclusive Auto Brokers on 02/02/2018. I needed a vehicle asap, and it was my best option at the time.Per the description of the vehicle on the company's website and CarGurus, we were getting a great deal when comparing on KBB. After taking into consideration all options falsely advertised, we paid as much as we would have paid if we bought close to home. We have concluded this vehicle was listed with falsely stated options to get it to the top of the "GREAT DEALS" list on CarGurus and sell the car quickly. It isn't right to falsely advertise, and I want to warn people they should confirm everything advertised before making a purchase with this company. Also, if they have falsely advertised, push to have them go down on the price an adequate amount. The description of the vehicle was NOT TRUTHFUL. Per the company's website and CarGurus, Vehicle Options listed that WERE NOT TRUTHFUL included extra keys, owners manual, premium sound system, and alloy wheels. Upon arriving from our one hour drive, we mentioned the ad said the vehicle included alloy wheels, and wheels with hubcaps were the reality. We were told it was a simple mistake, though it's around a $500 mistake. The owners manual was not in the car nor provided - when asked, we were told there wasn't one. AFTER PAYMENT AND SIGNING all paperwork for the vehicle, we were told there was not a second set of keys. We also didn't realize there were not speakers in the back at all until after we left, which is our fault for not noticing originally, but we would have expected to have speakers in the back when a premium sound system was noted on the description. Finally, the car had been driven through tar before we purchased it, which is a careless way to sell a vehicle.Granted, we should have confirmed all these things. We did review the description closely and naively believed we were getting what was advertised. Lesson learned on our end, and I hope this warns people to be hyper aware of confirming advertising of Exclusive Auto Brokers.I have all screenshots of advertising (with timestamps) on record if anyone would like to see proof.
