The Memorial Medical Center Foundation, also known as MMCF, is a nonprofit organization that has been providing philanthropic support for community-based health care systems since 1961. It offers gifts and financial support services for health care education, clinical research, medical equipment and patient care programs. The organization maintains a staff of more than 20 employees that serves patients at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children s Hospital. The Memorial Medical Center Foundation offers the Charitable Gift Planning Program, which focuses on providing financial planning assistance services. The organization is licensed by the State of California Insurance Commissioners Office to issue charitable gift annuities. Located in Long Beach, Calif., the Memorial Medical Center Foundation is a subsidiary of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
