The Barbara & Ray Alpert Jewish Community Center has been operating for more than 50 years in the United States. The center promotes the spiritual, cultural and ethical values of Judaism and provides Jewish learning and living experiences. It offers a range of programs, such as Mah Jongg Group, Knit Wits, AJCC Poker Club and AJCC Movie Club for adults and postgraduate students. The center also conducts swimming classes. The Barbara & Ray Alpert Jewish Community Center offers an early childhood education program for children up to the age of 5. The center offers imaginative play, cooking, music, block building, math concepts, and small- and large-motor skills classes. The Barbara & Ray Alpert Jewish Community Center is located in Long Beach, Calif.
