- Botox"I flew from NYC to Denver on a strong recommendation for Dr. Ort. He was totally worth the trip. First and foremost, he is extremely kind and caring, as well as sensitive to your specific needs. He will not sell you- he will advise you on what he thinks you need without excess. As a 52-year-old male who never had Botox or fillers, I was extremely nervous about looking like I “had work done.” I walked out of that office feeling more confident and looking 10 years younger. Thank you Dr. Ort for turning back my clock! I look forward to my next trip to Denver!"
- Lip AugmentationThese are the most widely used fillers, consisting of hyaluronic acid (HA), which binds to water. They work well to fill superficial lines and wrinkles, hollows under the eyes, and for lip augmentation. Typical duration is 6 months or more. An advantage of HA fillers is that they can be immediately dissolved if needed with injection of hyaluronidase. Note: Any office which performs filler injections should have hyaluronidase on hand. Many offices do not. Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware).

- EczemaEczema is a general term used for several common types of skin rashes, which share the features of skin irritation, redness, weeping, scaling, and itching. The two main drivers of eczema are skin barrier disruption and an exaggerated immune response. People who live in dry climates such as Denver, Colorado are more likely to develop eczema.
- FungusWe treat all conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails. The most common conditions include acne, warts, moles, cysts, and skin cancers. We also frequently see eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, ringworm and fungus infections, impetigo, boils, and rashes.
- LesionsWe are the leading center in Lone Tree, Denver, and Colorado for treatment of pigment and brown lesions of the skin, including sun damage, lentigines (liver spots), birthmarks, and melasma. Many pigmented lesions respond well to laser treatment whereas other pigment conditions such as melasma respond better to other treatments such as chemical peels. Dr. Ort has the training and experience to evaluate a pigmented lesion to determine how best to treat it.
- Chemical PeelsAs the next step, we offer a variety of chemical peels in Lone Tree and Denver such as Jessner's peels or the Melanage® peel. A series of gentle Jessner's peels is commonly performed to exfoliate the skin and lighten pigment. For those patients with stubborn pigment or who want to see the fastest results, we recommend the Melanage® Peel or the Melanage® MiniPeel. This is a chemical peel which actually makes you "peel". In our experience, the Melanage® Peel provides excellent and consistent results in the treatment of pigmentation and melasma. These peels are performed by our expert licensed aesthetician Sheila Marquardt, who has worked closely with Dr. Ort for over 15 years!

Products like nV® Skin Care Replenish Serum can act as a cornerstone treatment to help prevent skin aging, reduce and even eliminate some facial wrinkles.
- MicrodermabrasionOther treatments for acne include chemical peels such as salicylic acid peels and microdermabrasion. These treatments help to exfoliate the skin, reduce bacteria, and unplug clogged pores. We also offer a cutting-edge treatment for acne called photodynamic therapy or PDT, which utilizes a topical medicine applied to the skin followed by treatment with a laser and blue light. PDT helps to shrink oil glands in the skin and kills the bacteria which cause acne.
