Founded in 1987, Madison Correctional Institution is a part of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. It is a correctional facility that houses various inmates. The institute provides The Youthful Offender Program. Madison Correctional Institution s Sex Offender Risk Reduction Center offers assessment and basic sex offender education services. It also has a Faith Based Reentry Dorm that includes alpha, celebrate recovery, evangelism explosion and prison fellowship ministries. The institute provides vocational and religious solutions. Madison Correctional Institution additionally maintains a staff of more than 500 individuals. It maintains a reading room for children who visits their incarcerated parents.
