Camp Ground Elementary School is an educational institution that provides learning experiences for students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in math, science, writing, reading, social studies, English and physical education. The school supports art, chorus, drama and music activities. It has a library that stocks a collection of books and magazines. Camp Ground Elementary School manages the Site-Based Decision Making committee. It also operates an accelerated reader point club. The school's facilities feature computer laboratory, special needs resource room, family resource center, gymnasium, cafeteria and more than 15 classrooms. It is governed by the Laurel County School District, which enrolls more than 9,000 students and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
