      Recycling has been in the business of recycling scrap metals for over 75 years. We make it easy and convenient to stop in and drop off your recyclable items. We aim to keep our facility clean and safe for our customers. The following is a list of items Valley Recycling can accept. Limited items can only be accepted by adhering to necessary requirements. Prohibited objects cannot be accepted; however some materials are recyclable by other specializing companies and organizations, please check for local facilities. Always Accepted Items: * Aluminum * Brass * Copper * Stainless Steel * Steel & Tin * Junk Cars (with title) * Cardboard & Newspaper * Auto Batteries (non-cracked) * Catalytic Converters Accepted Items with restrictions: * Refrigerators-Refrigerant must be drained by a licensed CFC contractor. We can drain them legally for you for $20.00 each appliance * Lead Acid (Vehicle) Batteries- Must Not Have Any Cracks in the Outer Casing and Must Not Be Leaking Unaccepted Items - No Exceptions * Household Batteries

      Non-ferrous Metal Information 1 Copper - Clean uncontaminated with no paint, solder, insulation, dirt, etc. Can be tubing or wire. Wire must be bare and thicker than a pencil lead. 2 Copper - Copper that has paint, dirt, solder, corrosion, etc. Insulated copper is not accepted as #2 copper. Can be tubing or wire. Bare wire under pencil lead thickness is accepted. * Bright and Shiny Copper - #1 copper wire that is not weather corroded or burned, must be shiny in its appearance. With no contamination in any form, and must be thicker than a pencil lead. (10 Ga.) * Aluminum Cans (UBC) - Any aluminum beverage container that has been emptied of its contents and is uncontaminated in any form. * Extruded Aluminum - Consisting of window frames, door frames, structural type aluminum, with no contamination i.e., nails screws, staples, putty, paint, weather stripping, foam, etc. Must be 6063 series aluminum. * Painted Extruded Aluminum - Same as regular extruded aluminum, however, may contain small amounts of paint, caulking, weather stripping, dirt, etc. * Clip Aluminum - Most common grade of aluminum. Consists of plate, bar, solids, chunks or machined parts. Must be free of contamination, paint, nails, screws, etc. * Painted Clip Aluminum - Same as regular clip, however, may contain small amounts of paint, caulk or coatings. * Aluminum Siding - Thin aluminum house siding, rain gutters, fascia, ECT. May have paint but must be free of staples & nails.
