Mamma Onesta’s translates to “Honest Mother” in Italian. The restaurant was named after Frank’s mother, a hard working and honest woman, Erminia DeGrassi. A second Mamma Onesta’s location was established in Canton, Georgia on July 10, 2017. The Georgia location is owned by the Degrassi and Buonauro family and operated by the Buonauro family, Mario & Melanie Buonauro.
