Established in 1948 and formerly known as Lockney General Hospital, W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed medical services provider located in Lockney, Texas. The hospital offers a wide range if services, such as obstetric/delivery, surgical, emergency, fitness center, physical/OT/speech therapy, home health/respiratory care, dietary, laboratory and radiology. It caters to the needs of its customers throughout the community of Lockney and the surrounding West Texas areas. The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services has certified the hospital and the Texas Department of State Health Services have licensed it. W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital is a member of the National Rural Health Association, the Texas Hospital Home Health Care Association and the American Hospital Association.
