DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE! My dog had surgery and died the next day. Dr. Sheehy used my friends shirt to attach his drain tube (my friend offered when Dr. Sheehy said she didnt know how she would attach it), very unprofessional. Dr. Sheehy released him too soon. He should've been walking but he wasn't and kept falling down when they tried to get him to the car. They had to get a stretcher and a guy from a business nearby to help get him in the car and then needed neighbors to get him in the house. I thought it was from the anesthesia, figured if anything not right they wouldn't release him. I only found out by talking to other veterinarians after how my dog shouldve been acting. I picked him up right before closing and they wanted to go home. And since my dog did so great during surgery they didn't think anything would happen. They should've recommended the after hours hospital. I will never know the cause of death, but my dog had no symptoms before he laid down and never woke up. They never got him fully out of the anesthetic to see how he was reacting (plus he had a fentanyl patch after surgery) - that alone is an issue whether or not it caused his death. Dr. Sheehy and her practice manager Tracy continued to cover/lie to my face after my dog died, and later Tracy told someone that called for me that my dog walked out (she was not there that day). Dr. Sheehy is not compassionate and has a very cold bedside manner, even after my dog died. But that's the least of your worries here. If she was that careless with this dog, she could be with your pet. I have so much guilt because I would do anything for my dog and thought I was making the right decisions for him. My heart is broken, My dog was my everything, and I was his.

Inadequate vet care and care directions leads to pet deathWe brought our pet bearded dragon to the hospital for a routine check-up. We did not have any special means of transporting the animal but were told by the staff that wrapping him in a towel would be sufficient. When we arrived and were taken into a room we were not given any method for providing heat to our dragon. An "emergency" case came in and we were required to wait nearly two hours for treatment of our dragon. He was not provided with any kind of heating throughout the whole visit even when we were forced to wait and he was extremely stressed out by the actions of the vet and the techs. Bearded dragons are extremely susceptible to stress and need constant heat in the high 70s to low 80s range. The vets office prodded this dragon then left him stressed out with no heat for over an hour only to come back and stress him out some more. After the visit they did not try to calm the animal or provide warmth for him
