My doctor was out of town. The staff at Dr. Lee's office was able to accommodate me. I was able to get in that day. He was knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. His exam was gentle. He answered all my questions before I left. He actually called the next day to make sure I was doing better. I am impressed.

My friend and I bought a deal on groupon for laser hair removal treatments. The deal was great but as they say cheap is never cheap, it will always cost you in the end.

The first visit was ok. The doctor speaks very fast, asian accent. Right away asked me what else I wanted done. He pointed out that I looked tired and should get fillers under my eyes. I hadn't slept well all week because I was getting over a cold!

I said I will wait on that for now. He didn't seem to like my answer.

The second time, I went with a friend. Again, speaking fast with his difficult to understand accent, he began to ask us what else we wanted done. He recommended to my friend that she get fillers under her eyes as well! She explained that she was laid off of work and couldn't afford these things for now. He ignored her and asked if there was another area she wanted laser hair removal- she said yes, her bikini area. He suggested she have it done the same day as the other area instead of prolonging the visits/treatments. She asked "can I really do that? Don't I have to wait until the 4th treatment to treat another area if the hair is gone as it says in the groupon deal?" He said yeh, we can do today, no problem, come on. He asked me the same and replied the same answer. As soon as he was done, he said ok we're done, go see the receptionist and she'll take care of you. Once we got there, he immediately shut his door and to our surprise we were being charged $100 each! For what? For treating an extra area. We were totally hustled by Dr. Lee! His staff was afraid to confront him and his office manager admitted to having this issue with him before, where he does not know how to express himself clearly. So is that our fault then??? Now, we had to pay for his error. He was a coward hiding in his office and didn't have the professional courtesy to handle the matter himself or fess up to his error. Instead he ignored us and took another patient and slammed the door behind him. I ended up paying and my friend was excused as long as she switched the area she was treating. To top it off- the next morning I woke up and my husband noticed I had a burn on the side of my mouth! It was bothersome and hurt. I had to cover w/concealer and after a few weeks am still covering hoping this will not leave a scar. I called the office and emailed them photos - Dr. Lee claimed what I had was a cold sore! A cold sore? I would know if it were a cold sore and it was no cold sore. It is a burn mark from his negligence. I am contacting groupon to see if I can be refunded so that I may go elsewhere to complete my treatments. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a poooooor experience and be treated as if you are less superior because at this location, the doctor is always right and the customer's satisfaction comes last!
