Established in 1978, Christensen Middle School is located in Livermore, Calif. The school operates under the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. It offers classes from grades six through eight, and enrolls more than 650 students every year. Christensen Middle School provides classes in various subjects, including health and physical education, computer technology, arts and music, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school also offers various services and facilities, such as a virtual Internet library, science and technology laboratories, gymnasiums, music rooms, courtyards, guidance and counseling, athletics, and food and transportation services. It provides a range of teaching and learning resources for students and teachers. Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District also operates other schools, including Jackson Avenue Elementary School, Mendenhall Middle School, Portola Elementary School and Vineyard High School.
