Founded in 1993, King Interdistrict Magnet Elementary is operated by the Little Rock School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides general academic services to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, music and physical education. King Interdistrict Magnet Elementary also provides special education services to gifted and talented students. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising activities and donation camps. In addition, it organizes book fairs and educational programs.
