Very disappointed in their customer service. Some of us had been to lake ouachita before, others had not. We were surprised Almosthome wanted us to drive a 75' houseboat ourselves to tie it up. We asked them to take us out and it seemed the inconvenience was only the fact we would be the last ones out. We left the dock around 6:30, which was acceptable as we didn't want the liability. Not until we left did they call and tell us our $500 deposit would not be returned since they took us out and brought us back. During the 4 nights we were there, there was a storm one afternoon that unraveled a tie that the staff secured. We had to retie the ropes. Another one of their houseboats (that was driven by the renters) got their windows blown out and the houseboat was damaged and the staff didn't help them until the next day. (The storm was mid afternoon the day before). Those renters left after a day of being there. Not sure what kind of charges those renters incurred for being forced to drive that boat out themselves. We will not use this company again.
