Think twice before going!!!! We were really excited to have finally made it to little river to eat at Crab Catchers. We have heard nothing but good things for years however our experience was horrible. Besides waiting for a while for our order to be taken, the menu has changed... They no longer have the yummy seafood dips they've always had, we were served a cold dip in "to go" side cups (what you get sides of dressing in) with club crackers. Then, after drinking all of my water, I looked down to realize the bottom of the cup was covered in mold/mildew. I hoped it was on the outside but nope, I could scrape it off with my straw and it was now floating in my water. When I approached the manager about it, he was very rude and said... Oh I know what that is, it's tea residue.... No, sir, It's not tea residue. It's mildew. He looked up and said "sorry." I said back, sorry doesn't quite cut it, I have been drinking mold. That's unacceptable, unhealthy and unsanitary! He said with an attitude "well what do you want me to do about it." How about act like a manger and do something more! He got frustrated at this request and said, fine your meal is taken care of. (Not what I was after... Even with worse experiences, we've never accepted a free meal). Meanwhile, a young male server was laughing. I turned to him and said, is there something you find funny? He said yeah how you're yelling at my Manager. I said, I'm not yelling, I'm having an adult conversation. At his age and maturity level, He couldn't possibly understand that. Feel Free to go if you want to experience rude wait staff, moldy drinks and crappy food. We've had MUCH better food for the same price in murrells inlet. If the restaurant keeps at this pace, it's going to be out of business soon.
