- Dental CareSchedule your pet’s dental exam today! We can also help show you how to brush your pet’s teeth and recommend foods and treats that will help combat plaque and tartar buildup.
- VaccinationConsider only two sets of puppy/kitten shots between 9 and 16 weeks, then triennial vaccinal blood titers. Rabies vaccinations are required by law, usually at 12 – 26 weeks old. Rabies booster in 1 year and then every 3 years, but consider vaccinal blood titers instead of boosters. At the time of any vaccination and 2 weeks later, give protective homeopathic remedies.
- Veterinary OphthalmologyIt is crucial for your pet’s vision that we detect and treat glaucoma and other problems with intraocular pressure (pressure within the eye) as quickly as possible. We can test your dog or cat’s eyes for excess pressure easily and safely with a device called a tonometer.
- Nutritional CounselingWe are a veterinary hospital that provides the most comprehensive, unique, holistic (conventional & alternative) veterinary services in New Jersey. We prefer alternative therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic adjustment, ozone therapy, nutrition consultation, homeopathy, cold laser, and more to treat causes rather than just masking symptoms with medications like antibiotics or steroids. Whatever your beliefs and needs, we would be happy to accommodate you.
- Comprehensive ExaminationWith a house call, our Doctor's and technicians will come to you to conduct a full physical exam and any diagnostic testing we can provide.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlA flea problem on your pet means a flea problem in your home. Understanding the flea life cycle and methods for its control can be a daunting task. We will gladly assist you in this process. We can provide you with safe, effective flea prevention and if necessary, flea treatment.
- Behavioral Disorder TreatmentSchedule your kitten for his/her first exam when they are 8 weeks old; and return for follow-up visits at 16 weeks and 6 months of age to ensure your kitten is growing up properly. Until your kitten has received a series of vaccines, they are susceptible to many serious but preventable diseases. We advise giving the Feline Distemper vaccine at 8 weeks and 16 weeks of age, then Rabies at 6 months. Depending on your cat's risk, we may also advise vaccinating or checking him/her against other diseases such as Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
- Vomiting Treatment
- Diarrhea Treatment
- Skin Condition and Allergy TreatmentProviding perches with rough surfaces can help reduce the frequency of nail trimming, but do not use sandpaper perches. They don’t wear down the nails and can cause skin problems.
- Parvovirus Infection TreatmentSchedule your puppy for his/her first examination when they are 8 weeks of age; then follow-up exams at 18 weeks and 6 months to ensures the pup is growing properly. Until your puppy has received a series of vaccines, they are susceptible to many serious, but preventable diseases. We will make sure your new dog is protected against Rabies, Distemper and Parvovirus by administering a modified dosage of the vaccine to your pet based on their weight. We take great care not to over-vaccinate by giving proportional vaccine dosages and providing homeopathic remedies for any potential side effects.
- Feline Retro Virus Treatment
- Bacterial and Viral Infection TreatmentBy spaying your pet, you’re protecting her against potentially deadly diseases, including bacterial infections, reproductive tract diseases, and several types of cancer. You also won’t have to worry about her going into heat. This means avoiding the mess that often accompanies the heat cycle in female dogs and the pacing and crying that happens with female cats. In addition, spaying your pet will help control the dog and cat overpopulation problem, keeping more animals out of shelters.
- Ear Infection TreatmentIf your dog suffers from frequent ear infections, surgical intervention can reduce their occurrence by improving airflow into the ear canal.
- Anal Gland Infection TreatmentOur facility and staff are trained to find and untangle knots and mats and ear cleaning. We also perform anal gland expression and ear cleaning.

- Hip Dysplasia TreatmentIf your pet is suffering from conditions such as arthritis, hip dysplasia, lameness, gastrointestinal disease, chronic health issues, or back problems, he or she might benefit from our chiropractic services. Chiropractic therapy can also promote healing and improve range of motion in dogs injured during sporting events.
- Diabetes Treatment
- Thyroid Disease Treatment
- Heart Disease TreatmentDogs and cats age far quicker than humans, so it is even more crucial for our companion animals to receive regular exams. In addition, the risks of arthritis, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, hormone disorders, and kidney and liver problems all increase with age.
- Kidney Disease TreatmentA miraculous “fountain of youth†for severe arthritis in dogs. We surgically remove two ounces of body fat and ship it overnight to the Vet-Stem Laboratory in California. They extract the stem cells and ship them back in syringes where we inject the stem cells into the arthritic joints to regenerate function. It has proven to be very healing in any other degenerative disease, such as chronic kidney disease or heart disease.
- Periodontal Disease Treatment
- Dental SurgeryEven if your dog or cat doesn’t have these symptoms, we recommend that you have a veterinarian evaluate your pet’s dental health at least once a year. Bacteria and food debris accumulate around the teeth and, if left unchecked, will lead to deterioration of the soft tissue and bone surrounding the teeth. This decay can result in irreversible periodontal disease, tooth loss, and possibly expensive oral surgery.
- Veterinary SurgeryProbably the most common soft tissue surgery performed on pets is the removal of masses or lumps. Most of these masses, once removed and tested, are found to be benign (nonharmful); however, occasionally they are more serious. Early removal and accurate diagnosis of a lump is necessary to improve the outcome in your pet if the mass is cancerous.
- Spaying and NeuteringWe also strongly suggest that you have your rabbit spayed or neutered. Not only can rabbits potentially give birth once a month, but they can also have up to 14 babies at a time! Even in households with a single rabbit, spaying or neutering has plenty of benefits like: protecting your rabbit from several types of cancer and reduce or eliminate aggression, minimize spraying, mounting, destructive chewing, and biting. Spaying or neutering will not change your rabbit’s personality.

- MicrochippingMicrochipping is a safe, permanent way to identify your pet in case he or she becomes lost. A microchip is a tiny device about the size and shape of a grain of rice, is placed just under the loose skin at the back of the neck. When a lost dog or cat without an ID tag is found, a veterinarian will use a handheld microchip scanner to check for a chip. If the pet has one, it will transmit its ID number to the scanner via a low-frequency radio wave. The veterinary hospital or shelter then calls the chip manufacturer, retrieves the pet owner’s contact information and calls the owner.
