The Little Elm Fire Department is governed by the city government of Little Elm in Texas. The department provides emergency medical and fire protection, prevention and suppression services. Its emergency management division coordinates the activities of various city departments during disasters, as well as offers educational and training solutions. The Little Elm Fire Department maintains a fleet of fire engines, emergency medical units, and tanker and brush trucks. The department also coordinates a variety of community prevention projects through Citizens Fire Academy and Clowns on Fire programs. Additionally, the Little Elm Fire Department is responsible for providing fire inspection and international fire code enforcement services.
