DeKalb Enterprises provides shelter and employment services for more than 150 individuals. It offers contract packaging, assembling and recycling services. The facility conducts training sessions for people with disabilities. It offers behavioral support, specialized employment, nursing, medical and transportation services. Located in Stone Mountain, Ga., DeKalb Enterprises is a developmental disabilities services employment program offered by the DeKalb Community Service Board, which is a nonprofit organization that helps children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens who suffer from mental health issues, developmental disabilities and addiction challenges. The board offers outpatient mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation, crisis stabilization and detoxification and residential services.
