La Loma Health & Rehabilitation Center

Not so fast. My mother, too, has been in La Loma care center on numerous occasions and while it is a beautiful facility and there are certainly warm and caring individuals who have cared for her, I can find fault with the majority. My mother constantly complains of waiting more than 30 minutes for a response to her pushing her button. I have difficulty getting administrators to respond to phone calls - one admissions counselor NEVER returned my daily phone messages - and the nurses station NEVER picks up the phone in the evening. I can't tell you how important it is for family members to be able to reach staff, especially if they are out of town. This facility charges more than double what any one else in town charges and I don't feel like I get my money's worth.

La Loma is an AWSOME, CARING WARM FAMILY care center for your loved one or loved ones. I had to find a care facility for my mother on more than one occasion and have always come back to La Loma. The staff is great and remember my mom by her name every time she has had to come and stay. They keep the residents one their toes and have many activities all week long. And everyone including family is invited to attend all sessions. Its a POSITVE environment for all!!! I would recommend La Loma Care Center to EVERYONE who would need this type of assistance for their loved one.I THANK YOU La Loma staff for helping me care for my mom when she needs more care than I can give her at this time. My prayers are with you all an I count the days till my mom comes home to me.
