Litchfield Intermediate School offers learning opportunities to serve the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of students. The school serves students in grades four through six. It offers classes in various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, Spanish, physical education, art and music. Litchfield Intermediate School employs a staff of a nurse, guidance counselor, social worker, psychologist, speech and occupational therapists and teachers. The school has a library that offers books on various subjects. It provides a lunch menu that includes a variety of dishes, such as grilled cheese, cheeseburgers, steamed broccoli and breadsticks. The school operates band and chorus clubs, as well as a parent-teacher association.
