Steve’s litigation experience includes matters involving contract, construction, employment, trusts and estates, creditor’s rights, loan foreclosure and commercial landlord/tenant law. Steve represents numerous national and local businesses in both State and Federal Court. Steve is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and the Emory University School of Law. Prior to returning to New Jersey in 1995, Steve was a partner in the New York City office of Cox Padmore Skolnik & Shakarchy. Steve has been on the Board of the Katz Jewish Community Center in Margate since 1996 and served as President from 2002-2004 and again from 2014-2016. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Salvation Army of Atlantic City since 1998 and was the President of the Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families from its founding in 2001 through 2008. Steve’s father, J. Eugene Brog, is the former long-time CEO of Spencer Gifts, Inc., the national retailer that has been based in Atlantic County for decades.

- Real Estate LitigationPhilip J. Perskie specializes in sophisticated transactions, real estate matters, and estate, business and succession planning. Phil is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also earned a Master of Laws in Taxation degree at Temple University School of Law. He has served on the boards of many local charities and agencies, was a founder and director of Boardwalk Bank, and has been Chairman of the Board of Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation since 2002. Phil was born and raised in Atlantic County, where the Perskie family has practiced law continuously since 1914 – Phil’s grandfather, father, uncles, cousins and nephew. Grandfather Joseph B. Perskie, was a Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey (1933-1947) and city solicitor of the City of Atlantic City (1927-1933).

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College and his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac School of Law. Chris served as law clerk to the Honorable Peter W. Thomas, J.S.C. and was previously named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Atlantic County Bar Association. Chris is a past President of the Atlantic County Bar Association. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey State Bar Association and was a member of that association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. Chris has earned the designation of Certified Civil Trial Attorney from the New Jersey Supreme Court, a designation earned by only a small percentage of the approximately 70,000 licensed attorneys in New Jersey. Chris is on the Board of Directors of A Work in Progress. He is the son of prominent Atlantic City attorney Roy Baylinson and the grandson of former Atlantic City mayor Richard S. Jackson.

A graduate of Villanova School of Business and Wake Forest University School of Law, Rick is a member of The Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, serves as a trustee for AtlantiCare and the UNICO Scholarship Foundation, as well as being involved in numerous other civic and community activities. Rick served a four year term on the New Jersey Supreme Court District 1 Ethics Committee (2006-2009). Rick also received the Benjamin A. Rimm award as Atlantic County’s young lawyer of the year in 2004 in recognition of his professionalism and community involvement. Rick is a second generation attorney. His father, Robert V. Mairone, was a prominent South Jersey attorney from 1966-1987. Like all attorneys of PMBB Rick is a lifelong resident of Atlantic County.

Alex graduated from Stockton University (Accounting with Honors, 1998); Rutgers School of Law, Camden (J.D., 2002 – top 5% of Class); and Temple School of Law (LL.M. in Taxation, 2009). In law school Alex was an editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. After law school he clerked in Atlantic County for Judge Himmelberger, Jr., J.S.C. (Law Division) (Ret.). Alex is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; Atlantic County Bar Association (“ACBA”); and American Association for Justice. Since 2008 Alex has served as a Trustee of the ACBA and currently serves as its Vice President. He is a past member of the District I Ethics Committee and Chairperson of the New Lawyers Division (ACBA). Alex serves as a Trustee of FACES 4 Autism, a charity that provides education and support to children with Autism and their families. In 2012 Alex received the Benjamin A. Rimm Award as Atlantic County’s young lawyer of the year in recognition of his professionalism and community involvement. Alex was born and raised in Atlantic County, attending local schools and working as a casino games dealer in Atlantic City to support his education. Alex, his wife, Alexa D’Amato Barrera, and their 3 boys in Linwood.
