Belhaven Middle School offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs to students. It has an enrollment of more than 500 students in grades five through eight. The school s academic programs include language and fine arts, math, music, arts, science, history, social studies, and health and physical education. It has a library that provides accelerated reading classes, a reference desk, books of various authors, primary source documents and digital study materials. The school involves students in a variety of extracurricular activities that include aviation, bowling, character building, choir, drama, homework and intramural sports clubs. It also has other clubs, including newspaper, science and yearbook. The student council organizes various events, such as social services, Make a Difference Day, lip lollipop sale, candy sales and school store exhibitions. It is located in Linwood, N.J., and is affiliated with Linwood Public Schools.
