My experience was ok. Don't ever let them trim your ends. My hair came out really nice and short but nice. I think I paid like 40 and that's too much for the Dominicans

VIP Dominican Salon was recommended to me by a friend after I recently moved to the area. First, I called to find out if I can schedule an appointment, they told me it was first come, first serve. Second, I go inside only to be surrounded by several women who were waiting to be seen. After an hour and thirty minutes of waiting, I was finally called thinking I will be out in an hour. My hair was washed and they left me on a chair to let my hair air dry!! I have thick, curly hair so you can imagine how long that took. So, with my back soaking wet, after another hour of waiting to be called by one of the stylists, I was finally seen to get my hair blow dried straight. Let's just say, I've had better, nicer stylists working on my hair in my hometown which is only 45 minutes away. I learned the hard way to stick to your favorite salon but I can guarantee you I will NOT go back to VIP Dominican Salon! Also, they are overpriced as I paid 35 dollars for a wash and set!

i am almost neurotic when it comes to salons because i've always had a bad experience and my hair has suffered greatly. i can say without a doubt that v.i.p. has ended that negative streak! the stylists work their chairs like well oiled assembly lines. you are in and out in no time flat. i have thick, medium length hair that takes a bit of effort to tame but the stylists never complain. i am not what you would call a regular because i only go ever 6 weeks or so for a trimming. i will tell you that since i started going my hair started growing again, which is huge happening since its growth had been dormant for some time. i've visited several other salons in the past 3 years but none have helped the health of my hair. the ONLY success story i can share is that of v.i.p. it's a must particularly if you have coarse or thick hair.

This is Jamie from NY i have been looking 4 this shop since 2003 i have not been there as of date but cant wait 2 get there if u r a black woman....looking 4 a great wash and set this is the place 4 u your hair will grow out so long they don't used any thing that the $1000 shop used in south jersey i would say they would do your hair the best it has ben try them u will be happy....keep in mind they nev did my hair just jumping out on a lin if there is a problem i will let the world know
