      Dr. Mackessy attended medical school at the University of Bologna, Italy and New Jersey Medical School. He achieved multiple residency programs to include: 2 yrs of General Surgery at St. Vincent’s and 3 yrs of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke’s Roosevelt. His then went on to complete a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Mackessy has a special interest in Hand and Upper Extremity Problems, especially pitching and overhead athletic injuries.
