Functional art at its best! We stopped by on a rainy Sunday in late June. Purchased a beautiful Merino throw. Enjoyed the grand tour of the operation from Susan. Very professional, yet warm and engaging. Sarah was weaving and was so knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting both ladies. This operation is nearly pre-industrial revolution. We highly recommend visitors to the area stopping by for a tour. We went away uplifted. In this day and age to find an operation like Swans Island was nothing short of a miracle! The showroom is located in a 1780's authentic cape. They even have friendly sheep in the paddock outside the ramshackle barn. Very picturesque. Whether you are interested in buying or not--they welcome you with open arms. We had a great experience!
