YES AVOID! Unless you like being insulted.

I have used many jewelers in Lincoln and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Over the phone I inquired about an appraisal and having my heirloom diamond put in a setting I purchased elsewhere.

Tom was downright rude, insulting my taste and intelligence. He argued with me about why I did not send my diamond through the mail and have the person I bought the setting from set it. Well, I bought it from a reputable estate/antique dealer, not a jeweler.

After years of searching I finally have a gorgeous antique setting that I am absolutely in love with that will hold my diamond perfectly and this guy had the audacity, sight unseen, to tell me I made a poor uneducated decision in purchasing it. WTF??

Glad I found out what this guy is like. He just lost thousands of dollars I plan on spending to have a lot of custom design work done.

I give zero stars for customer service.Apparently if your not buying from him he does not want your business.The most unpleasant experience I ever encountered with a jeweler. I called inquiring about an appraisal, sizing and resetting an heirloom diamond into an antique platinum setting. This guy was completely rude, insulting my taste and intelligence. Would not recommend for any type of services. There are plenty of other jewelers in Lincoln that would be more than happy to take care of you and your jewelry collection. I am sorry I ever called this guy, ruined my whole day.

I have been to numerous Jewelers around Lincoln and Omaha in search for the perfect engagement ring and diamond. While Write's as a nice diamond selection, dealing with Tom Wright was less than pleasant. I first stopped in the store to look at rings and diamonds and met with Tom where we had a nice conversation and explained to me a good deal about his "great" diamond selection and his credibility. Now this first meeting was ok, the problems happened when I brought my gf to view their selection. Now for rings it's all about what the girl wants (within reason to our budgets of course!), but Tom thought otherwise. When my girlfriend was asked by Tom which diamond style she wanted and liked the most, she replied with Princess Cut and was met with incredibly rude criticism from Tom. He began to argue why that was a "poor choice" and that it's "not the best cut" and blah blah blah "round is really the only way to go". I could tell she was hurt, after all, she it is her preference not mine or Tom's!!!! Tom was extremely rude to her the rest of the time we were there and left quickly. They may have nice ROUND cuts but as far as Customer Service, it is very very poor! STAY AWAY AND AVOID RUDE TOM! Nobody like that deserves your business and there are much better places in lincoln!
