Maxey Elementary School, administered by Lincoln Public Schools, enrolls more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1995, its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, mathematics, reading, social studies and science. The school also offers classes in physical education, music, art and technology education. It has a media center that stocks a variety of academic and picture books. The school s media center also has a collection of dictionaries, newspapers, magazines and other reference materials.
