Founded in 1926, Brooks School is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory boarding and day school. It serves more than 350 students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in English, math, history, science, music, mathematics and theology. Brooks School maintains a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. It administers several summer school programs. The school offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as basketball, hockey, wrestling, tennis and swimming. Brooks School operates the Kingsbury Technology Center. The school has chess, debate, entertainment, environmental and international clubs. It offers guidance counseling sessions.
