After concerns arose with another local veterinary clinic that we had used for years, we took our cat and dog to VCA Animal Hospital based on personal recommendations. We have been exceptionally pleased with the quality of care that our pets have received and the reasonable cost of services. As an example, our cat had an external skin tumor that required surgery. The vet provided us with a detailed estimate of the cost of the services and we agreed to have them perform the procedure. When the surgery was over, the front office staff told me that the estimated cost was incorrect. I assumed the worst. The lady then smiled and said the procedure was not as complicated as the vet had anticipated and the cost was almost $100 less than the estimate. Needless to say, I was a highly satisfied customer!
i love my cat and i want her to have only the best health care, she's my baby. i originally planned to only kennel her here, but she started acting weird and i made an appointment. they got us in promptly and the doctor was very friendly. regardless of how her wages are determined, she thouroughly looked at my cat and asked lots of questions. we concluded nothing was wrong and she was just getting older. even though the doctor said she was healthy, she called a few days later just to see how she was doing and if the symptoms had cleared up. after this visit, i am confident i found some professionals i can trust to kennel my cat for 2 weeks over christmas.
Based on my experiences with this vet over the past year, I am convinced that these doctors are paid on commission. I will not be returning to this office, and I would not recommend them to others.
