Very happy with Alarm Grid. I purchased a house with an existing Honeywell Vista 20P panel and wanted to just self monitor to avoid the long expensive contracts and devious auto-renewal contract scams. Working with Alarm Grid is perfect for me as there in no contract and I started with self-monitoring. I also purchased an upgraded IP/Cellular communicator from AG to allow internet (IP) monitoring as this is cheapest option, and then I can add cellular later. This company is very transparent - they put all the manuals for the equipment on their site and have a ton of You Tube videos to help the DIYer. I'm able to arm and disarm from the Total Connect app and receive text and emails if there is an alarm for about 1/7th of what I paid at my previous house! The support has been excellent and they know how to quickly get you going. If they weren't good, they would not have a no-contract policy. You don't need to be an expert on alarms, they will give you the steps needed.

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. AlarmGrid was perfect from helping me pick the right alarm system all the way to activating it and helping address some questions about the parts I got. Overall, very highly recommended.

Great working with AlarmGrid so far. After initially buying the Lynx Touch system a year ago, Sterling called to find out if we were interested in signing up with them. Not pushy at all and let us evaluate the system without monitoring on our own time. Setup was a snap, his installation videos are amazing for DIYers. By far the best bang for the buck out there. I recently installed a Honeywell L7000 alarm system purchased through Alarm Grid. I did several months of research on all the alarm companies and alarm products. I called a couple which had the highest ratings and felt like I was dealing with car salesmen. I finally called Alarm Grid. I actually felt like I was talking to a person not to a robot reading from a script. Alarm Grid is a young company but is definitely on the right track. If your looking for a alarm system give Alarm Grid a call before you decide. No contracts and REAL people..

I installed a Vista 20P along with a iGSMV4G, 7 wired zones, and a few wireless zones. Hooked up with AlarmGrid for monitoring and access to Total Connect 2.0. Sterling got us up and running in less than 30 minutes. Couldn't be happier! Thanks again!

Did a ton of research on home security before taking the plunge with a Honeywell Lynx L5100 for security, home automation, video surveillance. Wifi primary with GSM backup monitoring. Sterling's videos on YouTube are so clear and simple, they make the whole process a breeze. Their responsiveness to questions and issues is phenomenal. I cannot say enough about how these guys run their business. They should teach a Harvard Business School class on customer service and how to build a loyal following as a small, service oriented business.

We did an extensive search for a company that has a system that functions via AT&T (because we have no access to DSL or cable) and had no contract requirement. Starting with our first online contact via the company's chat option up through the final set-up of our equipment, the Alarm Grid staff answered all of our many questions very patiently via phone and online chat. After we made the decision to order the Honeywell LYNXGSMKT-5100 security system in December 2012, the system was shipped to us promptly. The staff was very helpful both on the phone and with online chat with the set-up process. They talked us through the whole procedure step-by-step. To date we are extremely pleased with the system.
