The B. J. Skelton Career Center, operational for more than 40 years, provides career and technology education to students. It offers programs in agriculture, automotive, masonry, cosmetology, culinary arts, machinery, carpentry, mechanical design, electronics, welding and graphic communications. It also provides programs in health science, industrial systems, law enforcement services and horticulture. Additionally, the B. J. Skelton Career Center offers special education programs. The center offers guidance, health, technology and transportation services. It is a part of The School District of Pickens County, which also governs Pickens Elementary School, Six Mile Elementary School, West End Elementary School, Pickens Middle School and Pickens High School. The B. J. Skelton Career Center is located in Easley, S.C.
