Watch out for their billing practices. My doctor was quoted $1160.00 for me to get a shot in my back because I was paying cash.

I was quoted $820.00 When I called. I had to pay in full the day of the shot. My actual bill was $854.50. No biggy. I paid it. Then I get a bill in the mail for $1042.00. After I complained that I was never informed of this extra cost and never agreed nor signed anything saying I would be charged extra, they lowered it to $882.00. I complained again then the next bill was $810.00. I still am refusing to pay this bill because they never gave me a chance to agree to this extra charge. They wanted me to get 3 more shots and if I would of done that they would have billed me an extra $4168.00 before I was aware of it.

In my opinion it is an unethical billing practice. Everyone needs to be aware of this.

My last conversation with Melissa was that they would look into it. So far all they have done is sent me a bill for $810.00.

They are dishonest and they KNEW they were going to bill me extra and REFUSED to disclose that to me. It's wrong, It's unethical, and it's theft. They are trying to take advantage of me.

I will write the BBB. The Missouri Board and even FOX 4. I'm tired of people being dishonest at my expense.
