      The Liberty Parks and Recreation Department maintains various recreational facilities, parks and trails in the city of Liberty, Mo. It maintains several parks, including Bennett, Clay Ridge, Northwyck, Ruth Moore, Stocksdale, Wilshire and Place Liberte. The department also maintains various recreational facilities, including pools, museums, meeting centers, libraries, theaters, lakes, tennis courts and community centers. It also offers its facilities on rent for various events, conferences and sports competitions. Its division, Liberty Tree Board, focuses on the plantation and maintenance of city trees and forests.
